Adolescent and Teen Therapy

We understand that adolescence is a time of growth, change, and new challenges. Our approach is holistic and family-centered, designed to support both the teen and their parent or guardian.

We work to create a safe, judgment-free space where teens feel heard and respected, while also involving parents or guardians in a way that builds trust and collaboration. Our goal is to help teens develop insight, emotional resilience, and practical coping skills—while keeping families engaged in the process.

2

Your First Session (≈55 Minutes)

Our initial session is structured to balance teen privacy with family involvement:

  • 20 minutes: Parent/guardian meets together with the teen and therapist to share concerns, gather history, and set the tone for collaboration.

  • 25 minutes: Teen meets individually with the therapist to explore their feelings, experiences, and personal goals in a private, supportive space.

  • 10 minutes: Everyone meets together again to review what was covered in broad terms, set initial goals, and outline next steps.

This format helps build trust with the teen while keeping parents or guardians informed and involved in the treatment process.
